It has clean lines, great wood grain and color. It really looks like furniture you would purchase from a furniture store. I've put 2 coats of Old English furniture polish on it already :) and I am very pleased.
I found the installation instructions a little "abstract" at first, but once I got out all the parts and matched them up with the pictures, the concept come together. I would recommend that you DO NOT use a power screwdriver tool, due to the screws are pretty soft and may cause stripping the screw heads--all are Philips screws.
I found no damages but that could be because I went to the Circuit City store and picked it up myself, rather than it being shipped via ground shipping to me. The outer cardboard box it comes in is not heavy enough for something that weights nearly 100 pounds. The box is too flimsy to take much rough handling. I can see if it has to endure much handling in shipping, the outer cardboard could weaken and become mashed.
It took me between 1 and 1.5 hrs to assemble, but I took a few breaks in between.
Based on the cost and it's style, appearance, and functionality; I would definitely recommend it to others and would consider purchasing similar pieces from Tech Craft.

Sauder Harvest Mill Entertainment Center Review

(More customer reviews)The problem with any Sauder product is that it is made from particle board with a veneer painted on. This is basically sawdust and glue pressed into wood sheets. Particle board is very brittle. It is also very moisture sensitive, do not get it wet or it will swell and disintegrate.
When assembling any Sauder product, take your time and be very careful when installing any screws or nails. The slightest deviation from perfect will result in the wood splitting, chipping or separating and it will not be easy to repair.
I give Sauder 4 stars because its products are good value for the money and if assembled with care, they can look reasonably nice.

Seville Classics Classic Lines CoffeeTable/Media Center Mocha Review

(More customer reviews)Just received this stand and put it together this week. I've been on the lookout for a great stand at a great price for a few months now and finally settled on this one after exhaustive researching. The price dropped to $265 + Free shipping and I just couldn't pass that up!
First things first, this baby weights A LOT! I still can't believe they shipped it for free. I was a little intimidated after opening the box and seeing all the parts. But after taking a deep breath, laying everything out nicely and browsing the instructions briefly it wasn't bad at all and everything made sense. I almost had a heart attack when I thought one of the support feet were missing but a quick check back into the box with tons of wrapping and foam to keep the parts safe and I found it. I didn't time myself but I'm thinking maybe a good 60 to 90 minutes putting this one together is about right. I love the color and finish on this. While it is black it almost has a dark brown feel about the color which is perfect for my setup. While some have made mention of the center area which isn't big enough for a normal/standard center channel it wasn't a problem for me. Even though mine would easily fit as I have the Sony HTIS-100 I chose to set it on top anyways. The two storage areas on either side aren't huge but they have adjustable shelves and are the right size for standard components and with the windows you shouldn't have any problems with the remotes. I'm at a point now where I don't feel the need to display all my components and would rather focus on the TV itself and this stand is perfect for that. It also sits at just the right height to accentuate viewing of my 52" Sony XBR9 whereas my last stand sat rather low. This one is perfect.
Overall I'm very impressed with this item. Great quality construction, fairly easy to put together, great price and incredibly good looks you really can't go wrong. I also liked that with the doors you have the capability to mount them on either side for opening depending on your setup. A real nice touch for flexibility. Overall I'm VERY happy with this product and would highly recommend it to anyone with a 42 to 55" TV. Thanks!

(More customer reviews)We just received this product today, and I was able to set it up easily by myself. It looks very nice and isn't very heavy or too big to move around after putting it together. The shelves are a wood painted a shiny black. The poles are made of metal. There is a sort of cable tie that you have to attach yourself at the base of the lower pole and screw into the wall with a provided hook. We're not going to use it. I don't usually give out 5 stars but so far I can't find anything really wrong with this product. If anything changes, I'll make note of that later, but so far it looks very sturdy.
EDIT: One year later and it still works well!

(More customer reviews)The media center was shipped in a reasonably good package. I wouldnt say excellent because the corner on the based was slightly chipped. ( The damage was minor so I didnt bother to return it).
The shelves are adjustable but the back panel cable holes are small and far apart, no choice but to adjust the shelves according to the cable holes , which makes it 'fixed'.
It was little cumbersome to put through all the cables for the all the AV components through the small back panel holes.
Also on the back side of the back panel there were no hooks to tie the cables, which i was expecting for the back panel this size.
I probably would have gone for a smaller media center if I had seen it before.
But overall it is a sturdy and solid media center.
