(More customer reviews)This item works great and allows ample depth for even the deepest of units. The vents in the back combined with the air circulation of the unit allows for ample cooling to keep the doors of the Synergy cabinet closed during use.
Only complaint was that the item was bent when unpacked and required some work to get it to fit right on the unit.

These optional rear panels provide extra depth and even better ventilation than the standard Synergy rear panels. All rear panels are easily removable with thumbnuts for quick component access. Constructed of heavyweight, black, powder-coated steel with ventilation louvers, these rears provide an extra 3.5 inches of inside cabinet depth for larger components and hefty interconnects.

Neatly display a range of AV components with this attractive media shelf from Poundex. For solo use or in conjunction with an entertainment center, the shelf unit offers five tiers of storage for DVD/BluRay players, video game systems, cable boxes, and more. Finished in a rich chocolate, the media shelf's frame and bottom shelf are crafted out of solid wood. The three middle shelves features 5mm clear tempered glass, while the top benefits from 8mm clear tempered glass construction. In the shelf's back bracket, preinstalled slots allow organized cable management. The media shelf requires home assembly and comes equipped with necessary hardware. Poundex offers a similar silver model of the shelf unit, as well as a matching TV stand. Assembled, the media shelf measures 23 inches wide by 19 inches deep by 40 inches high.
