(More customer reviews)Let me start off by saying that because we are a military family, we were looking for something inexpensive due to the fact it will most likely get damaged and need replacing the next time we move to a new base. The unit is sturdy for now, however, the finish on the particle board contruction is VERY easily chippable. I'm afraid to touch it for fear of chipping the finish (which appears to be something just painted on) and exposing the raw yellow board beneath. I do not believe we will be putting anything on this that does not have felt/rubber on the bottom.
Shipping was fast (exactly 1 week) and the packaging was in much better shape than in the previous review. The top of the unit (where the TV sits) has a small abrasion showing the yellow board beneath, but I'm going to get a wood repair marker/stick and fill that in and it should be unnoticeable to company. The middle shelf's edges are a bit roughed up as well and will require some touching up.
All in all, I'm satisfied with the functionality of the piece, but it's definitely not built to last. If you want a stand that is solid and will last a while, spend the extra money on quality and get a hardwood one.

Orchard Hills Large Corner TV Stand Review

(More customer reviews)The size of this corner TV Stand was perfect for the dimensions of our living room with little wall space. Fits perfectly into a corner, is unobtrusive and looks quite nice though it is not built with real wood veneer. The drawers hold lots of CD's and videos. Assembly goes right according to directions and it is quite an amazing engineering design that all the parts fit together perfectly. Most of my equipment fits easily into the shelf spaces.

The only problem I had was to discover that the cabinet space available for my amplifier was much too small for the recommended ventilation required according to the manual. Amplifiers put out much more heat than a DVD & CD Player or VCR. Also the maximum weight on the bottom two shelves is 20 lbs and my amplifier weighs 25 lbs. The movable shelves are supposed to support 25 lbs. One option to provide better ventilation would be to take off the cardboard backing. But the Sauder directions for assembly say the unit could be unstable without the back attached. I ended up putting my amplifier on an open shelf I fortunately had available behind the TV Stand. Overall I'm happy with the product filling my special needs for space and efficiency as well as a very reasonable cost.

(More customer reviews)First of all this TV stand is nowhere near the color shown in the picture or in the description. It is actually a very dark mahogany. The description also says solid wood, when in fact the stand is only about 40 percent wood, the rest being MDF and laminate. The assembly was tedious and very time consuming. The biggest problems however were the broken center support, and the fact that the doors rubbed the stand, then would not open at all when we placed our TV on top, even though our TV weighs nowhere near the weight limit in the description. Notified Amazon and they were great. They arranged for the UPS pick-up, and processed my return quickly. I did have to dissassemble and repack the stand of course.

Bose UFS-20 Universal Floor Stands (pair) - Black Review

(More customer reviews)I un-boxed it and had it hooked up and working in about 25 minutes. I have the BOSE AV-1 2 3II... This on has those brick type of speakers (not cube) I was a little worried that the stands were going to be incompatible but they worked out very well for me.
Buy it, Its way worth the investment. Movies, music, Wii, XBOX have 50% sound quality improvement. Sturdy enough my 2 year old has not knocked them over yet..... Knock on wood! : )

(More customer reviews)I bought this stand from Sears and I'm very happy with it. It's heavy and sturdy, and it comes with all the hardware and adapters needed to mount just about any flat panel. I have a 40 inch samsung (6 series), and its like the stand was made for it.
I wanted to leave a review though to give people a heads up about assembly. It is not easy to put together. I put it together myself, even mounted the tv all by myself, but the directions are not so great. The screws and washers are not labeled at all. The directions refer to the screws in millimeter measurments, but otherwise the screws are not labeled. You;ll need to use some logic to figure it out, or better use a ruler to measure the screws so you're using the right ones. Just a heads up. I wouldnt rate the product lower for this because its only a one time deal putting it together. The assembled product is a quality piece that will be around for a long time.

Techcraft 42-Inch Television Stand with Mount Wood Legs Glass Top Review

It wasn't that difficult to assemble, but it did take some time. I did it by myself and was meticulous in following the instructions.
