(More customer reviews)I was looking for a home theater stand in 48H and 24 depth to fit in my family room. This item not only was a perfect fit and my wife liked the look. This is my first online furniture purchase as I was always skeptical about how it will look in real. Item was shipped quickly and got delivered in 4 days. This thing even though looks small, is very heavy! you need atleast two people to carry it. When I opened, pieces looked very nice. and is very sturdy. Took about two hrs to assemble all by myself. Packaging was good and nothing damaged. Assembly instructions are bit vague also the sides are very symmetrical. Be careful while assmebly to make sure everything is proper. after fixing the side boards and middle shef, I realized I have the front and backs mixed. Had to disassemble everything and redo again. Make sure you have some one to help you lift the parts while assembling - particularly the back board. Its not terribly hard but having a helping hand will take few minutes. One complain - the holes for inner shelves were not properly aligned. I had to drill a hole on left side outer panel to fit the inner shelve. Not a big deal though.
No problem with IR signal reaching my equipment through the front glass doors.
Things I like:
Sturdy. You can really place a heavy TV on it.
Nice look.
Hard back board with large holes for wiring.
Not too costly.For my size requirements, I had found couple other tables but they were very costly compared to this.
Things I don't like:
Assembly instructions are confusing. Little more clarity about which side is front and which is back would help.
Had to drill a hole for the inner shelf holder.
