(More customer reviews)This stand is beautiful, perhaps the most elegant I found online or offline. It has a nice contour, great color combination of dark wood and tempered glass. The open design not only cools your components better but also lets light shine through so the unit and your wall in the back look much brighter and better than the older, more closed design.
The wood is not as lustrous as I expected but it was alright. The wood is also a bit thinner than I thought as the cross-sections are not nearly square as I thought and cannot tell by looking at the picture. However, it seems sturdy enough.
For regular audio/video components, it is definitely good enough. However if you have high-end amplifiers, which tends to be very heavy (like over 40 lbs apeace), it may still be okay but concerns me a bit.
The delivery was on time in about 4 to 5 weeks as it was made and shipped overseas. The item is very well packed for the long shipping trip.
Overall I am quite happy with this item although, if I had the option, I would have given it 4.5 instead of 5 stars.
