The best chapters here are on actual construction with detailed directions and photos (about 90 pages of 200 total). Anyone with reasonable woodworking skills should be able to follow the plans. The rest of the book covers design basics and a gallery of various surrounds for inspiration. Quite a bit of useful information for the price.
