I picked up an iPad with zero knowledge of how to use it. I puttered around a while and then a friend gave me this book. Though I'd learned some of the basics, I had no idea the number of things I could do with iPad, especially when I started downloading apps. This book took me from beginner to iPad geek in a few weeks. It covers the basics really well, and offers tips for some of the settings and stuff that helps you control how iPad functions. Then it goes on to cover the who iWorks for iPad software suite, which lets me actually get work done on the road with this gadget. And the section on other apps to check out is fabulous. I don't write that many reviews, but this book is really a must have if you're into your iPad!
