I've been looking for some great manuals that would teach me things from recording sound in the field and studio to editing sound in a software. This book goes into great detail for all of that but it also goes into details about how to use the equipment properly and how to have stamina when on the job because our bodies can get tired and we can hurt our backs running around with that equipment. The book goes into detail how to use our bodies properly. Everything you need to know about sound is in this one book and what's awesome is it comes with a DVD to.
Excellent book. Best to use it as a manual, you will not be sitting down to just read this thing through.
