(More customer reviews)I was nervous purchasing an item this expensive without seeing it in person. I have seen similar BDI pieces at the big box stores, but not this exact piece or finish (Cocoa Cherry). When it arrived I was impressed with the packaging and it arrived in perfect condition.
This piece of furniture is a thing of beauty. It really finished off the family room with a new 52-inch LCD mounted on the wall. The piece is well made and is shipped practically 100-percent assembled. You only need to insert the rear ventilation panels, interior shelves, and smoked glass top.
The interior offers ample room for a number of components with the good wire management. The speaker cabinet is ideal for concealing speakers and storing DVDs/CDs. I have the 2 speakers from the Bose 3-2-1 unit in this section for a clean look.
Beware that the piece is very heavy and will likely need two persons to move it once it is inside your home. This piece is expensive, but it looks much much nicer than the cheaper pressboard imitations.
