(More customer reviews)This TV stand is a good value at under $250. As advertised it is relatively easy to put together, and it has a very handsome appearance. The color is more of a dark mahogany than a cherry. Most of the panels are wood with wood veneer, but a couple of parts were particle board with a veneer. One caution: be sure your dvd player, converter box, or other apparatus that goes in the stand is 17 inches wide or less. This is the width of the center panel behind the glass door. Mine just barely fit. The door itself would be slightly more functional if it did not have the cross bars. These can block the signal from a TV remote from certain angles.
