(More customer reviews)If your goal is to improvise over standards there is no better approach out there. It minimizes all the theoretical nonsense to a minimum (Major and Bles scales) and it gets you to use your ear. This is exactly how all the greats learned how to improvise! I use this approach with students on all instruments and it is very effective.
