(More customer reviews)We have been trying to find a piece of furniture to work under our wall mounted TV for a while. Everything was too large in scale and would have dominated our room. This fireplace is perfect! The height is low enough where I can still put a picture frame on top and have room before the TV starts. The fireplace is pretty when on. Downsides are: the noise it makes when the heater is on (but I think this is the case with any electric fireplace), the bookshelves aren't very tall (but that is because the piece is short so I had to accessorize with items that were smaller) and my husband thought the construction was just okay - I think it is pretty solid, but it did take 3 hours for two adults to assemble. All in all, it looks beautiful and I love the molding on it. Works great in our room and we get a lot of compliments on it!
